Employment support
We support you so that you may pass the Specified Skills Proficiency Test.
We provide a special curriculum that will qualify you to obtain the “Specified Skilled Worker (i)” (food service industry) visa. If you have the “Specified Skilled Worker (i) visa,” you may stay in Japan for up to 5 years while working in the food service industry.
A practical employment preparation class is held.
We lecture on practical measures to pass the recruitment exam, such as how to write a resume that catches the attention of recruiters, as well as tips on how to enhance your performance at the interview, how to speak and manners that will give the interviewer a good impression.
We provide useful information for job-hunting activities.
We provide the necessary information to find a job in Japan, such as joint company briefings and recruitment information. We also offer individual consultations on job-hunting activities. Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions or concerns.
Courses
Long-term course (Student visa)
For those with a Student visa, there are two available courses to thoroughly develop the necessary skills to work in Japan.
Specified Skills Course
This is a one year and six months or a two-year course aimed at obtaining the Specified Skilled Worker (i) visa in the food service industry. While deepening your understanding of Japanese society and Japanese companies through company tours, you will learn Japanese, business Japanese, business etiquette, etc. necessary for specified skills and communication proficiency.
Study content
- ■ Comprehensive Japanese
- While learning the four skills (listening/speaking/reading/writing), you will acquire the Japanese ability to communicate appropriately according to the situation and the other party.
- ■Reading/Writing
- Learn how to read and write basic Kanji that are often used in daily life.
- ■Examination Preparation
- While practicing exercises and mock exams, we aim to pass the Japanese language exam
(JFT-Basic, JLPT) required to obtain the Specified Skilled Worker visa. - ■Expression
- Develop the ability to convey your perception of what you have read from figures and illustrations, as well as your thoughts to another party intelligibly.
- ■Specified Skills Japanese
- The aim that students will be able to pass the Specified Skills Proficiency Test while learning the vocabulary and knowledge necessary to work in the food service industry, including subjects like hygiene management, cooking methods, and customer service.
- ■Business Japanese
- While deepening understanding of business etiquette and corporate culture, students will acquire the Japanese proficiency necessary for business situations, including communication, reporting and answering the telephone.
- ■ICT Japanese
- You will learn knowledge necessary in the food service industry, including on electronic payment methods, touch panels, and basic computer operation methods.
- ■Regional understanding
- Deepen your understanding of the area where you live by walking around the city and interacting with local people.
- ■Career development (Basic)
- Tour workplaces in the food service industry and consider your own career while learning the knowledge and skills required for the Specified Skilled Worker visa.

- Deepen your understanding of working and working styles through lectures by corporate and foreign employees.

General Course
This is a one-year course aimed to find employment at Japanese companies in Japan and overseas.
You will acquire the Japanese language skills necessary for business communication and enhance your socio-cultural ability to work in Japanese society through career development.
Study content
- ■Comprehensive Japanese
- Improve four skills (listening/speaking/reading/writing) in a well-balanced manner, and acquire the ability to express your own opinions on a wide range of general and social topics.
- ■Exam preparation
- Students aim to obtain JLPT N2 while solving exercises and mock exams and reinforcing their weak points.
- ■Japanese exercises
- You will learn to express your opinion and cooperate through discussions and investigative studies to solve problems as group work.
- ■Business Japanese
- While deepening your understanding of business etiquette and corporate culture, you will learn the necessary Japanese for business situations including communication, reporting and answering the telephone.
- ■ICT Japanese
- You will learn how to use communication tools required in business situations, how to write emails, how to create presentation slides and so on.
- ■Career development
- Through lectures by corporate employees and foreign employees, you will learn about cultural differences in business situations. You will also learn how to write resumes and the manners for interviews.
- ■Regional/cultural understanding
- By interacting with local people, you will learn about the local culture and history, and deepen your understanding of different cultures.
